Hello,

Your redirect is working as it should, nothing has been changed since your account's been setup. As far as directory viewing, I am sorry but we cannot turn that on. It doesn't effect your redirect in anyway.

I'm sorry about not respondind to your request...as i have been ill & haven't been on the net ..game or server/redirect in days. I am now getting much better and am sorry also for the neglect. I would like to also request my directory viewing be restored to it's proper state as i will handle the problem myself with the "other" persons intefence and his mis-understanding that occured..I do apologize for the harshness that also occured on his behalf. Your service is valued by me as i am still learning the process(s) i need to know to operate a server and a redirect. Please accept my apology in this case. Yours truly: Keith (I will see that this does NOT happen again)

Hello,

It does not effect the redirect. You are getting that error because, you are pointing your redirect to the wrong URL. You do not own gamingredirect.net and everything is explained in the welcome email your friend received when his account was setup. You are to point your redirect to the following inside your servers config file:

http://www.gamingredirect.net/5644792756/

The following is an example that shows your redirect is working properly as it will prompt you to download the file:

http://www.gamingredirect.net/5644792756/AK47.u

Please understand as well that redirect directory viewing is turned off, any alteration of this will be subject to suspension. Pointing your browser to your root folder will still prompt a 403 Forbidden, again, this does not effect your redirect in anyway.

Hello, okay. But it does affect the redirect. If i visit http://gamingredirect.net/16Iron.utx it throws a 404 not found error. I am a little confused here. Do i own this domain gamingredirect.net ? Or do i have ftp access on a folder that i must place in the domain root? I am not the owner of this service but im only trying to help him set up the redirect and i dont know exactly all of this.. Please have a look on the account and check if everything is configured properly because we cannot access any files from it, via http. Thanks, Dragos

Hello, i have completed uploading all my redirect files but now i am haing an issue with the directory listing... When i visit my domain, http://gamingredirect.net/ all i get is a 403 Forbidden error. I've tried to add a few apache lines in the .htaccess file to enable listing but they didnt seem to work. Can you please configure it so that the domain root is displayed to visitors........? Thanks !
