Issue with my server after i started using your fastdl service

Yeah i created that "fastdl" folder when i was trying different things to solve my problem, i'll change it back. And again, thanks for the help.

Glad that helped. I was not aware of the changes for Sven Co-op. I will make notes of this for future reference. One thing I might suggest to you thats very small and really doesn't matter is - move the svencoop folder up a directory and change your redirect to:

I don't see it redirect to the main page as being the cause because, if the server cant find that file it will revert. That's always how the GoldSRC Engine worked. However I did enable a special 404 for your account specifically. Try it and let me know if that helps any.

A friend/server owner just told me that when the clients try to find a file that doesn't exist in the fastdl but does in my server (which is normally what happens with soundcache files since they are generated IN the server and need to be downloaded from my server instead of the fastdl one) so when a player tries to download a file like: http://s1.gamingredirect.com/5036978510/fastdl/svencoop/maps/soundcache/osprey.txt, the fastdl server instead of returning nothing since the file doesn't exist there, it redirects the client to https://www.gamingredirect.com/ which then actually makes the client download the html file of that page and when it goes to check the file it realizes than it's not the actual soundcache file forcing it to reconnect again, ignoring the fastdl server and downloading it from the actual server. So the issue is that the site redirects the client to the main page instead of returning that the file doesn't exist there. I don't know if you can change that but that seems to be what's causing my problem.

If those files are custom map files and aren't on your redirect. Then you most defiantly need them on your redirect. Not doing so will make the client reconnect and start downloading from your GSP (Game Server Provider) which will most likely be very slow. Make sure file names are exactly the same from your server on the redirect and files are all case sensitive.
I did however check and make sure our services weren't causing any issues and I don't currently see any issues.

Thanks for replying, my config seems to be fine: sv_downloadurl "http://s1.gamingredirect.com/5036978510/fastdl/svencoop/" sv_allowdownload 1 sv_allowupload 1 I've been talking to other server owners and my issue may be related to the way Sven Co-Op generates sound cache files and how it tries to find the soundcache folder in the fastdl server instead of the actual server folder and that's why clients are forced to connect twice. I'll check if manually uploading these files will resolve my issue.
Hi, i'm currently using your service to host content for my Sven Co-Op server but i noticed that since i started using your service, all clients trying to connect to my server are forced by the server to reconnect after entering. This issue is only present when i use your fastdl service, since i tried with others serversand it works just fine. Now i don't really know if you officially support fastdl for Sven Co-Op but i thought you could maybe help me resolve this issue i am having since this is really a deal breaker for me and it seems to be directly linked to the fastdl server. PD: I have also already posted a thread on the official Sven Co-Op forums asking for help and i'll let you know if my issue gets fixed.
