Hello,

I've looked over the logs and I don't even see your server requesting the files which means your config is wrong. Try setting the config to the following:

http://nl1.gamingredirect.com/4392584615/cod2/dede29/

Nope same thing....server stopped and then restarted. Server was in master browser list. Joined and it initially looks to download the z_modw.iwd file, quickly goes to the z_special.iwd file and then back to z_modw.iwd file. All the time staying on 0% downloaded and estimating time left. Have left that running in the background so hopefully it's give you a chance to see any root causes. As said, currently uploading a cod4 mod. Will try that once on the redirect to rule out a problem with this CoD2 server. Just want to see for sure if we have the same issue with two different servers and different mods. Just to make sure you are aware. We run a exclusive dedicated server that is hosted for us. No other gaming servers run on this dedicated server other than 2 Cod2 servers and 1 CoD4 server. The servers themselves are fully functioning and with really low pings so sure the server is OK. Kind regards Phil

Restarting server now. Will restart, give it a few mins and make sure it appears in the master browser list. Will then try again with the download.

Hello,

Can you restart your server and retry downloading the files. I've turned on some logs temporarily to see if I can locate any issues.

Not sure if last message went thru as not on ticket? Just in case....yes server has been rebooted multiple times. I'll always do that whenever changing any config file. The file names match exactly. Even downloaded them off the gaming server and then uploaded again to the redirect to be sure the files running on the server were the ones on redirect. Same issue...just hangs there. Trying to upload some CoD4 stuff too to test if that works. Trying to rule out a mod / server issue with the CoD2 server I'm having problems with. Any further ideas? I'll update this as soon as I've tested our cod 4 server. Thanks, Phil

Hello,

Have you rebooted the server when you made the changes to the server config? Also do these file names match exactly on the game server? Files are case sensitive.

This is for a Call of Duty 2 server (I know....really old game! haha). The mod for it is the extreme mod and is placed in a folder called dede29. There are 3 IWD files held within it (e29.iwd, z_modw.iwd and z_special.iwd) This dede29 mod folder is held within the root Call of Duty 2 folder. I've tried two varieties but basically both of these give me no joy; set sv_allowdownload "1" seta sv_wwwDownload "1" seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://nl1.gamingredirect.com/4392584615/cod2/" seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0" or set sv_allowdownload "1" set sv_wwwDownload "1" set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://nl1.gamingredirect.com/4392584615/cod2/" set sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0" I have also tried just putting the mod folder in the root directory of the FTP URL (so didn't put it in the cod2 folder on the redirect) http://nl1.gamingredirect.com/4392584615/dede29 Kind regards Phil

Hi again, Thanks for the assistance before with regards to being able to connect to the FTP with Filezilla. That was all sorted and required mod files have been uploaded. Currently every time I try to connect to the gaming server after removing the mod files in order to check the redirect the server just hangs on estimating download time. If I put the mod files back in place I can join the server with no issues. Anytime the mod files are removed from my local PC to test the redirect download is OK...it hangs. All firewall / AV software has been disabled. Is there any thing else on your side that may be preventing the redirect files being uploaded when joining the gaming server? Many thanks in advance. Phil Weber
