Hello,
Thank you for your continued business. Please feel free to reach out if you need any additional assistance.
That is very nice of you, thanks a lot.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience narrowing this issue down. I have gone ahead and credited your account for next month for the inconvenience. The credit will be applied automatically. If you have a yearly subscription the renewal date will extend by one month.
It's working fine now, thank you for your help. Much appreciated!
Hello,
This is an update to your current issue with FTP.
We identified the issue affecting FileZilla connections and have applied a server-side fix. The problem was related to how the FTP service was advertising its passive connection address during directory listing requests, which caused certain FTP clients, including FileZilla, to fail when opening the file list.
We have corrected the passive FTP configuration so the server now returns the proper public IP for data connections. If you were previously unable to retrieve directory listings, please try connecting again.
If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know and we will be happy to take another look right away.
Hello,
Your username and password are working. The issue is that your FTP client is trying to use Active mode and is sending your local/private IP (192.168.x.x) to the server, which the server cannot reach.
Please change your FTP client to "Passive mode" and reconnect.
If you're using FileZilla then do:
Open "Site Manager"
Select this site
Go to "Transfer Settings"
Set "Transfer mode" to "Passive"
Also make sure:
Protocol is "FTP"
Encryption is "Only use plain FTP" (this server does not support FTP over TLS on this port)
Port is "10000"
After changing to Passive mode, reconnect and try the directory listing again.
Now I'm back with my initial error! :'( I use the updated password that is shown on the account dashboard, I believe it's the right one since I get "Status: Logged in" in the logs. ======= Status: Disconnected from server Status: Resolving address of ftp.thunder.gamingredirect.com Status: Connecting to 144.217.158.70:10000... Hello,
When I said to make sure no ports were blocked. I didn't mean to open them. I mean to make sure there not blocked. The message you're receiving is someone was connected to the account currently. We have a one connection per account, per FTP policy to prevent abuse. This was my connection on another server testing it which I forgot to close.
Try logging in again and also close your ports as it's not good to keep open ports.
Thanks for the reply, although this is somewhat unusual for someone to open up ports on their own router to access an FTP repository. But in any case, I now get a Too many connections for this account, even though I only have one FTP window open.
